“Doing what needs to be done may not make you happy, but it will make you great” ~George Bernard Shaw
Actually I’m not really into this title minded. Ever since I graduated, my parents has been pushing and persuading me to take this apothecary professional program. I insisted not going to take this one. This is uncommon, I know. Surely I have my reasons. These are some of em.
# I have my new passion in one major study. I had a thought, being a pharmacist is not really that urgent.
# I don’t want to be a burden to my parents anymore. Always has the thought of “It’s going to waste so much money to join this program”
# I don’t really like the subjects they offer in this program. -____-
Well well well…
You don’t really know what cases we’re going to meet ahead. After got finished with my “Life Courses Abroad” for one year, approximately, I plan to pursue a job in health related field. I did “accidentally” rejecting a Job offering from one good company, I’ve been rejected by some companies, and I end up working as an intern in one pharmaceutical industry. I’ve learned and gained a lot.
As time goes by, I really feel the need to take this professional program. I kinda feel like I need to get an acknowledgment if I want to get focus on my newly passion. It’s a dilemma. I don’t really like the subjects, but my parents keep pushing and persuading me to take this, and eventually I feel the need to get the acknowledgment as well.
So I carefully think about this. I decided to take the course.
Maybe later in life, you can’t always get what you want. You gotta do what you need to do.
I might not be really happy doing this course (especially the final exam,
), but yea, doing what needs to be done will somehow make you feel great. So this is it. At least I got three strong reasons to take this course.
# To make my parents proud
# To get the acknowledgment in health related field.
# I know I might not be that happy, but if I can overcome all of the obstacles, It will make me feel great. Yes I will, Yes I can, Yes I shall overcome
So for those who have been confused whether taking this or not, find your own reasons, why should you, why shouldn’t you. If the answer goes “You should” and somehow It makes you feel bad and unhappy, maybe you shall look at it on a different side. Doing what you need to do will somehow make you feel great.
Cheers,
Mia
